To publish the true facts regarding the most visited climbing web sites in English in the world is hard, though with the results from several sources the statistic true is closer than with one source.

coronn.com have chosen to take results from Google (how many links to be found), from Alexa (web site ranking) and finally the results published at top100climbing. The results is from 17th January 2010. To use Google (with approximately 50% of the market) and Alexa with the Firefox that has approximately 45% of the market makes the result quite representative.

We are happy to see ourselves in the top 15 list. Only a couple of years ago we where excited to be among the top popular 100.
Some web site might be missing at the list, in some cases a web site of some reason is not included in one or two of the above mentioned sources. One example is the web site 8a.
Among manufacturer PETZL is on top, placed 6 among all climbing sites, Vaude, Mammut and Salewa is also among the first 25.
Web sites that only is presented in German is not included, as roberge.de, alpenverein.at, nfi.at.
